Our investment thesis

Biosis Ventures was founded in 2022 with the goal of streamlining technology in healthcare. We target exceptional healthcare entrepreneurs with groundbreaking ideas and professional track records, favoring early-stage companies propelled by exponential technologies.

We understand the challenges faced by Founders. Our robust ecosystem and global networks allows us to provide not only smart capital but also an array of other critical resources, including strategic insights, a diverse network of relationships, and technology support to the Founders in our portfolio.

We invest in startups that contribute to health and happiness, and elevate human dignity, and work to bridge technology and IPs around the globe and invest in underserved sectors to level the playing field. We believe that a single, well-executed idea can change the world. Consequently, long-term, we support great companies and invest early in world-class Founders, disrupting the global markets and improving the lives of people while solving real problems using technology.

COVID-19 has accelerated numerous existing and/or emerging healthcare trends, particularly around health equity, and environmental and sustainability. Additionally, shifting consumer preferences and behavior, the integration of life sciences and healthcare sector, rapidly evolving digital health technologies, new talent and care delivery models, and clinical innovation continue to be top of mind for healthcare executives globally.

Health technology is transforming the way we can diagnose, treat and prevent disease, and has the potential to radically improve access to healthcare on a global scale. Nevertheless, technology alone is not the solution in it of itself: it’s only part of a larger ecosystem of innovators, investors, clinicians, governments, regulators and, of course, patients. To truly capitalize on the potential of healthcare technology, and to improve outcomes for patients across the globe, requires new ways of collaborating, and new models of service delivery and most crucially new channels of investment.

We’re making healthcare massively better by investing in the next generation of entrepreneurs, advising major corporations and working with the public sector on what matters in healthcare to scale health equity for all humanity.
